Molly Dahlgren joined the staff of the Neurosurgery Department as a Research Administrative Assistant, Sr. in the Castro-Lowenstein brain tumor research lab in April, 2012. She was promoted to the position of Administrative Specialist Assoc. just over two years after being with the lab. In August of 2016, Molly took on the role of Research Process Coordinator for the Clinical Research area within Neurosurgery. As a Research Administrator, she is responsible for the pre- and post-award finances of clinical grants, clinical trials, industry backed clinical research and other areas of clinical research. She is the first person to be assigned to this role in Neurosurgery.
Molly earned an Associate’s Degree in Office Technology from Thomas Nelson Community College in Hampton, Virginia where she graduated magna cum laude. Additionally, she is a Certified Microsoft Office 2007 Specialist, Master – having passed four extensive exams in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. She has completed many UM specific trainings including the Navigate Fundamentals course and the Uniform Guidance course.
Ann Mehringer, MS, CCRC, is the Program Manager for the Neurology Clinical Trial Operation. Ann received her Bachelor of Art degree from Kalamazoo College and began her career at the University of Michigan as a Research Assistant in 1991. She earned her Master of Science degree in Clinical Research Design and Statistical Analysis from the University of Michigan in 2001. She is a certified clinical research professional with over 25 years of experience in clinical research at the University of Michigan.
